Overview

Responsibilities
- Retrofit and modify automotive components according to customer specifications, work instructions, and engineering change notices.
- Assemble, install, or replace parts using hand tools, fixtures, and other production equipment.
- Follow standardized work, visual aids, and quality requirements to ensure compliance with customer and internal standards.
- Perform inspections and quality checks to verify correct installation and functionality of retrofitted components.
- Document production activities and retrofitting completion using shop floor systems or production logs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with 5S and safety guidelines.
- Identify and report defects, non-conformances, or process issues to team leaders or supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams to support continuous improvement.
- Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Requirements
- Fluent in English.
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop constantly.
- Assembly related experience in the automotive industry of 3-5 years.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
