Overview

The Fleet Mechanic III position at Keurig Dr Pepper in Irving, TX involves performing maintenance and repairs on various vehicles and equipment while also mentoring junior mechanics. Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks, trailers, vans, and forklifts.
• Disassemble and overhaul motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends, and electrical systems.
• Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records.
• Manage ordering and inventory of parts.
• Act as a mentor to class I & II mechanics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
• 1 year or more of mechanic experience on a fleet.
• Must be able to work on all types of vehicles including diesel trucks and forklifts.
• Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job.
• Willing and able to acquire necessary certifications and licenses within the first year of employment.

Additional Information

• Monday through Friday, 2:00pm until 10:30pm or finished.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
