Job Description
Overview
The City of Plano is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Public Works Maintenance Worker in the Pumping Facilities Department, responsible for maintaining and operating critical water infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and operation of pump stations, sewer lift stations, and water towers.
- Inspect and maintain critical equipment such as pumps, motors, and valves.
- Assist with water quality testing.
- Pull and backwash sewer pumps.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols.

- Hours for this position are Monday–Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, on-call required after training.
