Overview

Robinson Fans, Inc. is a family-owned business established in 1892, specializing in industrial air-moving equipment. They are seeking motivated welders for their Zelienople, PA facility, where employees are valued and provided with a supportive culture to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Review project assignments and instructions from Team Leader
• Review drawings and welding details for the job
• Obtain an understanding of the task and develop an action plan
• Set up welding machine and other required equipment
• Weld assemblies per the required standards
• Ensure work meets quality standards
• Practice safety in all aspects of the job and participate in safety improvement programs
• Look for safety issues with equipment and processes
• Understand the principles of Lean Manufacturing and follow the 5S System
• Participate in improvement projects
• Learn best practices from team leaders and other team members
• Recommend process improvements on idea boards
• Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' experience with Mig, Tig and Flux Core is preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• A 'can do' attitude and a willingness to learn
• Ability to consistently produce high-quality welds
• Ability to pass AWS D1.1 welding qualifications and AWS D14.6 if applicable
• Read and understand Robinson weld detail drawings and procedures
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills

• 1st shift schedule is M-F 6:00am-2:30pm and 2nd shift is M-Th 2:00pm-12:30am
