Overview

The TIG Welder position involves assembling and welding parts and frames to print specifications while ensuring quality through self-inspection. The role is at Vertiv, a company that values ownership, positive interactions, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and weld parts and/or frames to print specifications.
• Align and clamp workpieces together using tools or fixtures.
• Clean workpieces to remove dirt or excess acid.
• MIG or TIG weld adjoining edges of workpieces using appropriate equipment.
• Grind, cut, buff, or bend edges of workpieces for a snug fit.
• Examine seams for defects and rework defective joints or broken parts.
