Overview
The Welder's primary responsibility is TIG and MIG welding of aluminum and steel parts, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area.
Responsibilities
- Plans details of work order procedures and gathers required tools and materials.
- Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques.
- Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
- Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
- Familiarizes with proper lifting and turning procedures.
- Operates machinery safely as trained and authorized.
- Wears required safety equipment at all times.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 year of MIG welding experience (Required).
- 2 years of general welding experience (Preferred).
- 1 year of TIG welding experience (Required).
- Ability to use a 1-2 lbs. hammer.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform the job in a standing position for a length of shift.
- Detail oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to prioritize and take direction.
- Ability to speak and read in either English or Spanish.
- Possess basic mathematical skills.

Additional Information
- Full-time position with an expected 40 hours per week.
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
- Work location is in person.
