Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment and machinery, such as arc welders, MIG welders, and TIG welders to fuse metal components.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to understand the welding specifications and join metal components accurately.
• Perform visual inspections and non-destructive testing to verify the quality of welds.
• Correct any defects or imperfections in the welds, if necessary.
• Work in various positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead, as required by project.
• Work closely with project managers and other teams to ensure the proper alignment and assembly of the fire and life safety system.
• Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to welding.
• Other duties as assigned.
