Overview
The Aircraft Mechanic III position involves performing repairs, modifications, and installations on C-12 aircraft, including troubleshooting and operational checks of various Pratt & Whitney turbo prop engines. The role requires proficiency in sheet metal repairs and the ability to interpret technical manuals and directives.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Site Manager according to technical data and directives.
- Evaluate aircraft discrepancies to determine repair methods and identify necessary parts and tools.
- Utilize maintenance manuals and other publications to install, test, and troubleshoot aircraft modifications.
- Inspect for corrosion, treat and repair discrepancies, and prepare aircraft components for paint.
- Remove and replace engines, accomplish engine rigging, and conduct tests.
- Comply with established standards of workmanship, safety, quality, and production.
Requirements
- Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license required.
- 5+ years of experience with C-12 aircraft.
- 5+ years of experience with Pratt & Whitney turbo prop engines (PT6A-41, PT6A-42, PT6A-60, PT6A-65).
- 5+ years of experience with airframe, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Information
- Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
