Overview

Severfield is seeking a Fabricator to join their Nuclear & Infrastructure division, which specializes in the highly regulated nuclear, transport, process industries, and power and energy sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to innovative design and fabrication projects across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a busy production team interpreting detailed fabrication drawings.
• Utilize BIM as required and set out complex fabrications according to the build method statement.
• Tack weld components into place and profile components using Oxy/Propane cutting equipment.
• Handle heavy steel components using cranes for lifting, turning, and maneuvering.
• Meet tight production deadlines and carry out self-inspection of fabricated parts.
• Maintain a safe working environment and demonstrate excellent Health and Safety practices.

Requirements

• Time-served fabricator or equivalent fabrication standards through experience.
• Qualified experience with welding is an advantage.
• Extensive experience in structural steelwork fabrication.
• Ideally have worked in a similar working environment.
