Overview

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a skilled Welder for their manufacturing team in Hamilton, OH. The role involves performing structural steel welding using MIG and TIG techniques, operating cutting equipment, and ensuring high-quality assemblies that meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols.
• Pass a welding qualification test.
• Supply personal welding gear (helmet, chipping hammers, etc.).
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding on steel and aluminum materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and assembly instructions.
• Use oxy-acetylene cutting equipment and metalworking tools.
• Verify work against specifications and ensure quality workmanship.
• Complete time reporting sheets accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Work up to 10 hours per day and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of structural steel welding experience.
• AWS D1.1 welding certification.
• Familiarity with weld testing methods (e.g., dye penetrant).
• Experience with framing and metalworking equipment.
• Proficiency with plasma arc cutting and laser measuring tools.
