Overview
The Mig Welder / Fabricator will weld various metals and fabricate manufactured parts to complete production processes. The role requires knowledge of material types and gauge thickness, as well as adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Use standard industry tools and machinery.
- Check for defects in detail and cosmetic appearance.
- Report defective materials or questionable quality conditions.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
- Follow all required safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of MIG welding experience on aluminum or stainless.
- Welding certificate preferred.
- Ability to weld multiple materials and thicknesses.
- Ability to follow established SOPs and Work Instructions.
- Must know simple math and decimal to fraction conversions.
- Ability to set up machine as required.
- Must be detail-oriented and thorough.
- Ability to be self-motivated.
- Ability to complete required paperwork accurately.
Additional Information
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
