Kinsley Steel, established in 1985, specializes in delivering high-quality structural steel solutions, including design, engineering, fabrication, and erection. The company is seeking a Structural Steel Welder Installer to join their skilled team.

Responsibilities

• Read specifications and blueprints to determine material requirements.
• Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural-steel members.
• Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts according to blueprints.
• Hoist steel members into place using cranes or other equipment.
• Bolt aligned structural-steel members for permanent attachment.
• Field assemble metal parts like frames, columns, and beams.
• Adjust structural-steel members into position for final attachment.
• Cut, bend, and weld steel pieces using various tools.
• Safely operate and maintain equipment and small tools.
• Report unsafe working practices and conditions.
• Check and maintain machinery fluid levels.

Requirements

• Ability to weld and maintain various weld certificates.
• Ability to understand and apply mathematics relevant to the position.
• Ability to speak and understand English in oral and written form.
• Understanding of machines and tools, including their maintenance.
• Knowledge of proper rigging and signaling.
• Knowledge of tools like transit, laser level, and welders.
• Possess essential tools including bolt bag, spud wrench, and tape measure.
