Overview

ARMI Contractors, a family-owned business founded in 2003, specializes in process and utility piping work and is looking to expand its team of Combo Welders and Fitters. Responsibilities

• Use TIG Processes to weld stainless/carbon steel piping and or structure for process/utility piping in food processing plants.
• Perform installation of all components of piping systems.
• Draw and interpret isometric drawings and prints.
• Determine the required tools, materials, and welding procedures.
• Cut and thread pipe to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, and benders.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications.
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
• Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints.
• Assist with other welders and fitters as needed on job sites.
• Clean up jobsites after completion.

Requirements

• Trade school and/or 2+ years of TIG welding experience and drawing isometric drawings.
• Ability to travel 100% of the time.
• Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• OSHA 10 preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
