Overview

The Service Welder III position at Ring Power Corporation involves conducting welding tasks safely and efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures. The role requires maintaining tools, completing training, and contributing positively to team efforts, all within a dynamic work environment focused on customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all assigned work safely, following applicable safety and environmental policies.
  • Maintain a minimum set of tools for disassembling and assembling machine components.
  • Attend and complete required technician training classes.
  • Prepare parts or materials for welding and perform appropriate welding for repairs.
  • Keep the work area neat and orderly while seeking improvements in methods and safety standards.
  • Research repair needs and order parts as necessary.
  • Complete required documentation for repairs performed on equipment.
  • Support team efforts by completing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality.
  • Assist in maintaining facility appearance and shop conditions.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 6 months or less of experience.
  • Ability to comprehend written material and communicate effectively.
  • Completion of required training curriculum to be designated a Service Welder III.
  • Thorough knowledge of safety requirements for oxygen/acetylene welding and carbon air arc metal removal.

Additional Information

  • Job may require working nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Work is typically performed during regular business hours.
