Overview
The Welder position involves performing various welding techniques, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe work environment. The company offers a competitive pay range and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Perform GMAW (MIG), Pulse Spray Arc, and limited TIG welding as required.
- Build prototypes using engineering drawings without the use of specialized fixturing.
- Ensure the highest quality of parts by checking first and last workpieces and periodically verifying accuracy against work orders and blueprints.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of related welding experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school graduate preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong technical skills in MIG and TIG welding, with the ability to pass a weld test.
- Proficiency in basic math, including multiplication, division, and trigonometry.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work comfortably in a manufacturing environment.
