Overview

The Entwistle Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder B to build a long-term career in a collaborative and innovative environment, contributing to national and global security through the delivery of mission-critical components for U.S. and allied defense.

Responsibilities

• Set up and complete MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding in the assembly of parts to MIL-Standard Quality.
• Regulate gas, current, voltage, and electrodes to perform arc welding.
• Regulate pressure, flow, and tips to perform gas welding.
• Inspect welds using measuring equipment and weld gauges.
• Maintain production logs and required records.
• Coach and assist colleagues as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding.
• Ability to read work instructions for setup requirements.
• Ability to use Oxy/Fuel Torch, hand, and power tools.
• Ability to pass required certifications as needed.
• Good interpersonal skills for working within a team; also able to work independently.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings a plus.
• Must have tools.
