Overview

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector with Level II NDT Certification to ensure the integrity, safety, and compliance of products through advanced inspection techniques. This full-time, on-site position is based in Houston, TX and requires a strong background in dimensional inspection and non-destructive testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on fabricated components and assemblies
• Conduct and interpret NDT examinations including PT, MT, RT (as applicable), and PMI
• Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, and customer specifications
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
• Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Level II NDT Certification (Preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience in quality inspection within manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of ASME & AWS codes, welding, and fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints (English required)
• Experience with pressure vessels or piping systems preferred
• Background as a welder, fitter, or fabricator is a plus
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
