Overview

CHAOS Industries is a modern defense company founded in 2022, focused on providing domain dominance through its multi-product portfolio powered by Coherent Distributed Networks. They are seeking an Electromechanical Assembly Technician to join their team in Los Angeles, responsible for the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of microelectronics products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical in-process checks, analyses, and reworks of complex and precision parts and assemblies.
  • Conduct precision assembly of microelectronics components, including soldering and PCB rework.
  • Solder and rework components to ensure reliability and functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and prototype solutions to technical problems.
  • Configure test equipment and conduct inspection and functional testing of microelectronics circuits.
  • Identify and troubleshoot defects, implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly and testing processes.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures for microelectronics assembly and testing.
  • Operate specialized equipment to verify the functionality of microelectronics systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate findings and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electromechanical Technician, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Electromechanical Assembly.
  • Experience with precise manual torque tools and measuring tools.
  • Ability to operate mechanical hand tools and electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Knowledge of process operations of metals, plastics, and composites.
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical in-process checks and reworks.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microelectronics Assembly.
  • Ability to use electronic test equipment for testing and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of industry standards and safety protocols in microelectronics manufacturing.
  • Ability to read, understand, and edit technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
