Overview

Mercury Systems specializes in secure mission-critical technology for the military and defense. They are seeking an Intermediate Micro-Electronics Assembler for their Operations group in Torrance, CA, offering a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the corporation's future growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of shipment preparations for electrical/mechanical products.
• Prepare completed assemblies for final inspections by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and routers.
• Prepare products for shipment per Mil-Standard.
• Continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards.
• Maintain logs, paperwork, and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Typically requires 2-5 years of experience.
• Solder Certification to IPC J-STD-001.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Familiarity with PC software (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and to execute under pressure.
• Good communication skills, problem-solving ability, and adaptability are preferred.
• Eager and motivated to learn, work, and grow with Mercury.
