Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to help maintain our fleet and equipment, ensuring our operations continue to run safely and efficiently. Perma-Seal is a family-owned and operated company with a 45+ year reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, fleet vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel, fleet, or heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience working with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Automotive or Diesel Technology certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
