Overview

The Swiss CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines according to job specifications.
- Load raw materials and verify tooling alignment and offsets.
- Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Make necessary program edits and adjustments to maintain tolerances.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.
- Perform preventative machine maintenance as required.
- Maintain accurate production records and adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years machine shop experience in all phases of machining, including two years minimum of Swiss CNC experience required.
- Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and experience working with small precision parts to close tolerances required.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as basic knowledge of lean manufacturing.

- 3rd shift: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am
