Overview

Chromalloy is a global engineering and solutions company that provides aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions for aircraft engines and gas turbines. The Plasma Spray Operator position involves operating low pressure, robotic and manual air spray systems to produce critical turbine components.

Responsibilities

• Operate low pressure, robotic and manual air spray systems and supporting equipment.
• Determine appropriate powder to use for components.
• Use various measuring tools to ensure critical dimensions.
• Produce components following the latest revision of procedures.
• Read pressure gauges and flow meters.
• Perform routine maintenance of Plasma equipment.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience operating air spray systems.
• Experience using measuring tools.
• Ability to read pressure gauges and flow meters.
• Experience performing routine maintenance on Plasma equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Autobody and Mechanical background preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and gauges.
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing) required.

Additional Information

• This is an hourly position with Local 475.
• Rate of pay is $28.64/hr with a 10% premium for 2nd shift.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Work environment includes exposure to moderate cold, moderate heat, loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
