Overview
At Crestron Electronics, Inc, we build technology that integrates automation and control solutions for commercial buildings, serving clients like Google and Amazon. The Operator role involves assembling and testing various components in a high-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, configure, and fabricate wiring and mechanical parts according to blueprints.
- Set up and operate PCBA and test equipment using IPC standards.
- Work with support teams on new product introductions.
- Make recommendations to improve test efficiency.
- Operate testing equipment such as signal generators and multimeters.
- Read drawings to assemble and wire custom cabinets.
- Confirm and MIGO material to storage locations off production orders.
- Perform testing of assembled products to ensure performance requirements are met.
- Set up machines and run daily calibrations.
- Verify shortages and substitutions.
- Setup and operate Pick and Place machines, specifically Panasonic.
- Load ICT programs.
- Repair a variety of electronic circuit boards.
- Complete daily packing and shipping goals.
- Accurately record product information and movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Participate in daily safety huddles.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2 - 3 years of experience with electrical, electronic, or mechanical assembly processes.
- Ability to read and communicate in English.
- Skills in reading blueprints and using hand tools.
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Willingness to learn and be trained on various types of equipment.
- Valid driver's license to operate PIT vehicles.

Additional Information
- 1st Shift (8:00am to 4:30 PM) or 2nd Shift (5:00 pm to 1:30am).
- 0% travel required.
- Prolonged standing, seating, and bending for up to 5-12 hours.
- Position involves lifting packages that typically weigh 40 lbs.
