Overview

The Mechanical Assembler role at Ralliant Corporation involves driving continuous improvement in operations and assembly processes, with a focus on safety in explosive handling areas. The position requires direct supervision and offers on-the-job training, contributing to the assembly of critical energetic materials for military and commercial applications.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement in operations and assembly processes.
  • Provide on-the-job training (OJT).
  • Weigh and press inert and energetic materials.
  • Set up and use analytical balance.
  • Perform inert assembly operations.
  • Conduct minor cabling, potting, tinning, and assembly work.
  • Set up and use powder press for pressing operations.
  • Perform minor set-up for specific equipment.
  • May have basic soldering experience.
  • Perform various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
  • Use visual aids, drawings, and instructions to assemble, modify, re-work, or re-assemble units.
  • Install sub-assemblies.
  • Display proficient dexterity for safe handling of explosive devices.
  • Attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements if required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Able to work under direct supervision.
  • Must understand, speak, read, and write in English.
  • Minimum one to two years of industry assembly work required.
  • Soldering/welding experience is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm.
