Overview
The Mechanical Assembler role at Ralliant Corporation involves driving continuous improvement in operations and assembly processes, with a focus on safety in explosive handling areas. The position requires direct supervision and offers on-the-job training, contributing to the assembly of critical energetic materials for military and commercial applications.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement in operations and assembly processes.
- Provide on-the-job training (OJT).
- Weigh and press inert and energetic materials.
- Set up and use analytical balance.
- Perform inert assembly operations.
- Conduct minor cabling, potting, tinning, and assembly work.
- Set up and use powder press for pressing operations.
- Perform minor set-up for specific equipment.
- May have basic soldering experience.
- Perform various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
- Use visual aids, drawings, and instructions to assemble, modify, re-work, or re-assemble units.
- Install sub-assemblies.
- Display proficient dexterity for safe handling of explosive devices.
- Attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements if required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Able to work under direct supervision.
- Must understand, speak, read, and write in English.
- Minimum one to two years of industry assembly work required.
- Soldering/welding experience is a plus.

Additional Information
- Work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm.
