Overview

Sanmina Corporation is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider in the global Electronics Manufacturing Services market. The Assembler/Solderer role involves assembling and inspecting complex electrical/electronic subassemblies or assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bench-type processes to complete electrical/electronic assemblies and subassemblies using hand tools and equipment.
  • Follow established methods and sequence of operations for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
  • Verify completed assembly against specifications.
  • Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
  • Apply skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to the area of specialization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience.
  • Experience with assembly and measuring tools preferred.
  • Able to interpret visual aids.
  • Must demonstrate ability to solder using SN96 or HMP.
  • BGA soldering experience a plus.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination is necessary.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Be able to sit for extended periods during the 8-hour shift.
  • Must be able to visually inspect small items for accuracy.
  • Must be able to handle small parts.
  • Able to read and follow detailed instructions.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent punctuality, good attendance, and reliability required.
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations required.
  • Prior Sanmina experience and systems knowledge is preferred.
