Sanmina Corporation is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider in the global Electronics Manufacturing Services market. The Assembler/Solderer role involves assembling and inspecting complex electrical/electronic subassemblies or assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Perform bench-type processes to complete electrical/electronic assemblies and subassemblies using hand tools and equipment.
- Follow established methods and sequence of operations for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
- Verify completed assembly against specifications.
- Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Apply skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to the area of specialization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience.
- Experience with assembly and measuring tools preferred.
- Able to interpret visual aids.
- Must demonstrate ability to solder using SN96 or HMP.
- BGA soldering experience a plus.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination is necessary.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Be able to sit for extended periods during the 8-hour shift.
- Must be able to visually inspect small items for accuracy.
- Must be able to handle small parts.
- Able to read and follow detailed instructions.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent punctuality, good attendance, and reliability required.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations required.
- Prior Sanmina experience and systems knowledge is preferred.
