Responsibilities

• Performs hand soldering and manual assembly.
• Sets up, operates, and maintains custom and standard semiautomatic and/or automated assembly equipment.
• Inspects products using various inspection procedures.
• Uses diagnostic programs for electronic product testing.
• Troubleshoots and communicates issues related to defects.
• Demonstrates work methods to new employees.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma and additional courses after high school or equivalent.
• Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations.
• General knowledge of product process flow.
• Knowledge of product quality and soldering specifications.
• Ability to recognize and communicate problems in the operation process.
• Ability to manually assemble components and produce high-quality products.
• Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to maintain detailed and organized records.
• Basic manufacturing system knowledge.
