Overview

The Equipment Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain customer equipment at field locations, primarily focusing on gas-powered forklift repair and service. The organization is an established equipment sales and service company known for dependable service and strong customer support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklifts and industrial equipment at customer locations
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on gas-powered forklifts
• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues efficiently
• Complete repairs safely and accurately while maintaining service quality
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment conditions and repairs
• Maintain service tools, equipment, and organized work practices

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical repair experience
• Experience repairing forklifts, automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment
• Clean driving record required
• Must possess personal mechanic tools
• Stable work history with strong professional references
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to work independently in a field service environment

• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday daytime schedule (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
