Exelon is a Fortune 200 company leading the energy transformation, seeking problem solvers and innovators to ensure safety and maintain building systems. The General Facilities Mechanic will operate, install, and maintain various mechanical systems within defined skill limits.

Responsibilities

• Analyze problems with equipment and make repairs with or without supervision.
• Ensure all personal, facility, and department safety standards are met.
• Operate, install, and maintain building components and systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in operation, repair, and maintenance of building structures and systems.
• Good communication skills with supervision, peers, and clients.
• Ability to complete testing associated with the position as a prerequisite for employment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Availability for emergency response callouts.
• Knowledge of CMMS such as Maximo is desirable.
• Computer skills.
• Valid Driver's license with the ability to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol tests, background checks, and physicals.
