Overview

The DFH Shop Technician position is a full-time role in the Commercial Door, Frame, and Hardware division located in Malvern, PA. The ideal candidate should possess a friendly demeanor, be perceptive, and disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and cut hollow metal material to assemble hollow metal frames.
• Learn to setup, operate and maintain equipment to weld material.
• Set up and operate various bench and hand power tools.
• Perform general warehouse duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Handle inventory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Basic MIG welding experience is a plus, but not required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift over 80 pounds.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
