Overview

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Machine Operator 1 for the weekend night shift at their Middletown, PA location. The role involves operating various production machines and performing routine operations to support manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines including CMM, polish wheel, airflow, waterflow, shot peen, furnace, grinding machines, and EDM.
• Read and interpret process sheets, deburr and clean parts, gage parts, and make minor offset changes with oversight.
• Utilize measuring devices and assess product acceptance based on blueprint specifications.
• Clock labor in Solumina, perform preventative maintenance, and document results.
• Complete Daily Walk Around (DWA) and utilize communication logs.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment while ensuring acceptable quality levels.
• Transport product and/or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Adhere to ACE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.
• Follow all EH & S guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g. G.E.D in the US).
• U.S. citizenship is required.
