Overview

Honeywell is seeking a versatile General Maintenance Mechanic/Plumber to join their team in Lansdale, PA. The role involves performing maintenance and operations activities to ensure facilities infrastructure operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance of facilities infrastructure systems, equipment and components.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot malfunctions of facilities infrastructure systems, equipment and components.
• Diagnose problems and perform corrective maintenance to avoid production delays.
• Operate the fire water system, including supply and drain valves.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Regularly perform rounds and inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe conditions.
• Respond immediately and appropriately to emergency situations.
• May be requested to work hours outside of standard work day, possibly including weekends.
• Be on-call for one week at a time, several times a year.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and policies related to building operations.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of direct professional Plumber experience.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and various types of ladders and lifts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and vendor partners.
• Fluency in reading and evaluating operating and maintenance instructions and construction drawings.
• Ability to learn and utilize CMMS software.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. person under U.S. export laws.
