Overview

You will serve as an ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROL MECHANIC LEADER in the Maintenance Branch at the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role involves diagnosing machine failures and ensuring proper functioning of equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose machine failure as mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic or a combination and take corrective action.
  • Perform multiple simultaneous functions including automatic tool changing.
  • Plan work sequence, complete projects, and make tests, adjustments, and alignments to ensure equipment functions properly.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Must be registered for Selective Service if male born after 12-31-59.
  • Must complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance.
  • Ability to lead or supervise.
  • Ability to perform overhauls, troubleshooting, repairs, installations and preventative maintenance inspections on high speed CNC machines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical work documents.
