Overview

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks a Millwright for a project in Fayetteville, GA, performing installation, rigging, millwrighting, and maintenance for manufacturing and industrial markets across the Southeast. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprint and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantles machines using hand tools.
• Moves machinery and equipment using hoists and dollies.
• Constructs foundation for machines using hand tools and building materials.
• Aligns machines and equipment using various tools.
• Unloads, inspects, and moves equipment using rigging and hoisting devices.
• Understands load properties of cables and hoists and knows hand/crane signals.
• Fits bearings, aligns gears and wheels, and connects belts according to blueprints.
• Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment.
• Works within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Lifts and carries objects of varying weights.
• Detects and responds to dangerous conditions.
• Maintains regular attendance.
• May require significant travel.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
• Completes all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Observes SIC and Customer safety and quality processes at all times.
