CMC is a Fortune 500® company that specializes in steel, construction reinforcement, and ground stabilization industries. The Maintenance Technician role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the company while performing essential maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts.
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions and troubleshooting breakdowns.
• Use SAP maintenance module and computers to acquire information and document actions.
• Fabricate parts using machine shop instruments and equipment.
• Conserve maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies.
• Exercise judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepare business recommendations.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role required.
• Experience with Allen Bradley, ABB, AC/DC motor and/or other PLC troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and business leadership.
• Able to perform maintenance/repair at heights or adverse conditions safely.
• Must be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrate dependability in attendance, work completions, and flexibility.
