Overview

Seeking an experienced AWS Certified Welder for a short-term industrial automation and manufacturing project. The position will begin in Auburn Hills, Michigan and conclude in Holland, Michigan over a one-week project duration.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on manufacturing and automation equipment components
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel and equipment assemblies
• Verify weld quality and dimensional accuracy
• Utilize grinders, cutting tools, and fabrication equipment as required
• Support installation and modification activities during project execution
• Maintain compliance with customer safety requirements and welding standards
• Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced industrial environment

Requirements

• Current AWS Welding Certification
• Proven experience in industrial welding, fabrication, or manufacturing environments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld drawings
• Experience with MIG welding; TIG experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to travel between Auburn Hills and Holland, Michigan during the project
• Must possess basic hand tools and appropriate PPE
