Overview

T BAILEY is currently hiring a Helper-Trainee-Laborer for their welding shop in Anacortes, WA. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in welding and fabrication, offering hands-on work with opportunities for growth through in-house training.

Responsibilities

  • Set up tools and materials before welding begins
  • Clean up work areas after welding is completed
  • Sweep shop floors and maintain a safe, organized workspace
  • Grind weld splatter and use a wire wheel to clean up welds
  • Support welders and fabricators with general labor tasks
  • Beveling steel plates to prepare for welding

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a fabrication or industrial setting is preferred
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to work a consistent night shift schedule
  • Must pass a fit-for-duty exam
