Overview

Industrial Piping & Welding LLC is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Industrial Pipe Welder to support mechanical and industrial piping projects throughout the Wasatch Front. The role involves high-precision TIG welding on various piping systems and requires adherence to B31.3 code standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) pipe welding
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping systems
• Produce welds that meet B31.3 code requirements and pass X-ray inspection
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Prepare pipe and materials for welding, including fit-up and tack welding
• Operate welding equipment and power tools safely
• Work closely with pipefitters and field crews
• Maintain clean and safe job sites
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures

Requirements

• 4 to 5 years of industrial pipe welding experience
• Strong proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding
• Ability to pass a B31.3 weld test to X-ray standards
• Solid blueprint and welding symbol interpretation skills
• High attention to detail and quality
• Physically able to lift materials and work in industrial environments
• Experience welding in mechanical rooms or boiler systems (preferred)
• Background in pipe fabrication and fitting (preferred)

Additional Information

• Full-Time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Projects are located along the Wasatch Front (Salt Lake City to Syracuse, UT)
• Travel to nearby job sites is required
