Overview

The Robotic Welder I position involves operating robotic welding equipment, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring safety compliance in a fast-paced environment. The role requires both independent operation and collaboration to meet quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Perform daily equipment check lists.
  • Meet welder II requirements including quality and productivity requirements.
  • Perform as a hand welder for areas not robotically compatible or accessible.
  • Independently operate Robotic Welding Equipment.
  • Utilize fixtures to setup jobs as required.
  • Make minor adjustments to operate Robotic Welding Equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding and support of company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations.
  • Basic understanding of computers.
  • Reading, writing, and simple math skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • High School diploma, GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Days and hours of work are 40 hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Standard hour requirement is four ten-hour shifts.
  • Overtime hours may be required beyond standard schedule.
  • Travel is not required.
