Overview
The Robotic Welder I position involves operating robotic welding equipment, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring safety compliance in a fast-paced environment. The role requires both independent operation and collaboration to meet quality and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform daily equipment check lists.
- Meet welder II requirements including quality and productivity requirements.
- Perform as a hand welder for areas not robotically compatible or accessible.
- Independently operate Robotic Welding Equipment.
- Utilize fixtures to setup jobs as required.
- Make minor adjustments to operate Robotic Welding Equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding and support of company policies and procedures.
- Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations.
- Basic understanding of computers.
- Reading, writing, and simple math skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- High School diploma, GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial environment.
- Ability to multi-task.

Additional Information
- This is a full-time position.
- Days and hours of work are 40 hours, Monday through Friday.
- Standard hour requirement is four ten-hour shifts.
- Overtime hours may be required beyond standard schedule.
- Travel is not required.
