Lake Air Products is a fast-growing contract manufacturer serving various markets including medical, aerospace & defense, and industrial sectors. They are looking for a 1st shift Spot Welder Operator responsible for operating spot welding equipment to join metal components according to specifications while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate spot welding equipment to join metal components.
• Perform weld setup, inspections, and quality checks.
• Adjust control settings for heat, pressure, and timing.
• Inspect work using precision measuring instruments.
• Examine welded components for defects.
• Deliver the first piece to inspection for verification.
• Utilize control plans and customer drawings for quality assurance.
• Notify supervisors of any faults in equipment or materials.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in Spot Welding preferred.
• Excellent people skills and ability to partner with leadership.
• Personal qualities of integrity and commitment to the mission.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and move work pieces.
