The ENGINEER WELDING 2 position at HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding involves developing, analyzing, researching, and designing welding techniques and procedures. Responsibilities
- Develops and analyzes welding techniques, procedures, and applications.
- Uses engineering principles to manipulate materials for fabrication and assembly processes.
- Prepares technical documentation for waterfront welding processes including specifications and standards.
- Creates or modifies welding methods and procedures to substantiate welding theories.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience.
- Master’s Degree with 0 years of relevant professional experience.
