Overview

The Summer Worker role involves supporting production processes and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read specifications prior to inspecting and packing any product.
• Complete production records.
• Tend article stacker/hand pack, palletize articles and package materials in various methods according to specifications.
• Maintain pace with the molding machine.
• Clear machine jams quickly and safely as necessary.
• Construct and assemble boxes and stage them for use.
• Inspect product for quality and visual defects.
• Communicate to the Molding Operator when defective product is discovered.
• Evaluate when equipment is malfunctioning and communicate issues with the Shift Mechanic.
• Keep workstation, tables, and work area clean and free of tripping hazards.
• Work safely and follow all GMP and PPE requirements.
• Sort, repack, clean, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in an industrial assembly line type environment or related work preferred.
• Ability to communicate; reading and writing comprehension.
• Ability to follow directions.
