Overview

Austin Industrial is a leading provider of maintenance, construction, and soft craft services to industrial companies across the U.S. The Sand Blaster position involves preparing surfaces for painting and applying paint using various tools.

Responsibilities

  • Read work orders and receive instructions verbally.
  • Prepare surfaces by removing dirt, oil, grease, old paint, and smoothing cracks.
  • Work at heights without fear.
  • Fill cavities and dents with putty for a smooth surface.
  • Select and mix coating liquids to produce desired colors.
  • Erect scaffolding or set up ladders for tasks above ground level.
  • Apply paint using a spray gun, brush, or roller.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • No minimum education requirements.
  • 4 years of Journeyman level experience.
  • NCCER certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
