Overview

The Basic Workforce position at Kinder Morgan involves the safe and efficient unloading and loading of bulk and packaged commodities. The role requires working in various terminal operations while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Secure cargo for discharge from ship and/or loading to truck/rail.
• Perform general duties in all areas of terminal operations.
• Maintain housekeeping and general maintenance as required.
• Upkeep assigned equipment or tools.
• Execute customer orders and maintain necessary records.
• Perform any other terminal functions as trained and instructed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must meet and maintain certification for use of respiratory protective equipment as required by OSHA 1910.134.
• Demonstrated aptitude to execute customer orders.
• Ability to work with a team and take direction from supervisors.
• Must be available to work all shifts and weekends including 12-hour shifts.
• Must be able to secure and maintain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC card).

Additional Information

• Requires work in all types of weather conditions.
