Olympic Steel has been focused on safe, profitable, and sustainable growth since 1954, offering a wide range of processed metal products. The Welder/Fabricator role involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives and performing welding tasks according to blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Improve safety, quality, and efficiency in all areas of responsibility.
• Set up and weld parts according to blueprint or schematic requirements.
• Assist with operation, assembly, and other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• Experience with stainless and carbon steel as well as aluminum.
• MIG, TIG, and flux core experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Mechanically inclined and production oriented.
• Safety and quality conscious.
• Basic math skills.
• Understanding of measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
