Overview

Responsibilities

  • Verify welds using magnifiers, dial calipers, pin micrometers, and tube micrometers.
  • Ensure qualification to AWS D 17.1 and QOP-62-02.
  • Achieve x-ray quality welds.
  • Perform rework, repair, and related operations.
  • Conduct welding duties.
  • Operate welding equipment.
  • Weld fittings on tubing, ducts, tanks, and similar units.
  • Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to apply general understanding to carry out detailed, written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and weld specs.
  • Must have SSP machine welding certification.
  • Annual eye examination required.

  • Annual Target Salary = $47,840.00
  • Monday - Friday 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 2:00am
