Overview

HMT is seeking a Foreman responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and quality job performance in the field. The Foreman will work closely with the Field Superintendent to manage site-related activities and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and audit field progress reports for accuracy.
• Train employees on typical equipment used on large jobs.
• Communicate fieldwork problems to the Field Superintendent and assist in resolving them.
• Coordinate communication among team members, customers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with HMT safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with equipment maintenance as needed.
• Identify scope of work changes with the Field Superintendent.
• Train crew members in tank building.
• Assume duties of the Field Superintendent during their absence.
• Promote a positive working environment.
• Perform any other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in construction and/or industrial environments.
• Ability to weld in all positions with SMAW, FCAW, and SAW.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to complete safety and QA/QC paperwork independently.
• Ability to interpret field and fabrication drawings.
• Must be DOT OQ qualified.
• Must have a 3-year clean driving record.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs concurrently.
• Experience managing multiple crews/job sites.
• Willingness to travel for long periods.
