The Buildings team focuses on structural engineering for new and existing buildings, offering services such as renovation, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team for delivery of buildings (structural) projects through all design phases.
• Perform design and analysis of complex building structures and prepare plans and specifications.
• Conduct quality control activities for independent review and checking of structural designs.
• Manage and mentor junior, intermediate, and senior engineers, overseeing staff utilization.
• Interface with clients for project delivery.
• Assist with business development and project pursuits.
• Lead the proposal preparation effort for design projects and attend interviews.
• Other assignments as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineering License (P.E. or S.E.)
• 10-15+ years of experience in buildings structural engineering projects.
• Thorough knowledge of US building codes and referenced standards.
• Proven track record of winning work and building client relationships.
• Strong team management and mentoring skills.

• Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team.
