Overview

Linde Engineering North America LLC is seeking a Structural Engineer in Blue Bell, PA. The role involves ensuring project compliance with client specifications, developing structural specifications, performing structural analysis, and coordinating with various engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project compliance with client specifications and governing codes.
• Define structural scope of supply for projects.
• Develop structural specifications and perform structural analysis calculations.
• Produce sketches for incorporation in drawings by designers.
• Review design and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with all disciplines related to structural engineering efforts.
• Assume lead engineer's role on assigned projects as required.
• Interface with Materials Controls system for commodity purchases.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Develop and maintain standard specification sheets for engineered items.

Requirements

• BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• Structural PE required or ability to achieve within 3 years.
• 5 to 10 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of structural design and analysis calculations.
• Familiarity with national and international codes and industry standards.
• Effective computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be a team player.
