Overview

Tradesmen International is hiring experienced Journeyman Ironworkers/Riggers for projects in Knoxville, TN, offering a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging and setting of industrial equipment, machinery tanks, conveyors, and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret rigging plans, blueprints, equipment drawings, and lift plans.
• Safely attach, balance, and guide loads using chains, slings, shackles, spreader bars, and other hardware.
• Assist with equipment alignment, anchoring, leveling, and final placement.
• Work closely with millwrights, pipefitters, welders, and other craft workers.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience of ironworking/rigging.
• Experience rigging and setting equipment in manufacturing plants, factories, or industrial facilities.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed installation instructions.
• Familiarity with cranes, forklifts, aerial lifts, and industrial lifting practices.
• Ability to work overtime and occasionally weekends as needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic hand tools.
