Job Description
Overview
An experienced welder/fabricator is needed to join a busy shop, where the work involves reading blueprints and working with metal components and structures.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, templates, and work orders.
- Set up and operate MIG, TIG, and Stick welders, plasma cutters, grinders, and other shop equipment.
- Fit, weld, grind, and assemble structural steel, stainless, and aluminum parts.
- Measure and layout parts to tight tolerances.
